#Theme Preview & Usage

FolkPatch provides a cloud theme store for aggregating and distributing certified FolkPatch themes.

#Downloading Themes

FolkPatch’s theme store is located in the Appearance menu on the Settings page.

The theme store contains homepage previews and detailed information about themes, where you can pick your favorite themes.

#Using Themes

After successfully downloading a theme, you will get a file with .fpt format extension. Just import it in the FolkPatch app.

You can see the “My Themes” option in the theme store page. Click the downloaded theme to import it.

#Exporting Themes

After you’ve carefully configured a beautiful theme, you can export it for saving or sharing with other users.

#Filling in Export Information

After clicking the “Export Theme” button, you need to fill in the following information to better manage and identify your theme:

  1. Theme Name (Required): Give your theme a catchy name.
  2. Author (Required): Leave your name so everyone knows whose work this is.
  3. Version Number: Mark the theme version, such as 1.0.0.
  4. Description: Briefly introduce your theme style or features (e.g., dark style, anime, minimalist white, etc.).

#What Data Will the Theme Save?

The exported theme file will contain all the following configuration data:

Global Styles & Preferences:

  • Theme color tone (custom color or follow system dynamic color extraction)
  • Homepage layout style (e.g., Focus mode, etc.)
  • Night mode settings (on/off, follow system)
  • App language settings
  • Custom font files (if enabled)

Background Settings (Support Multiple Modes):

  • Main Background:
    • Background image/animation (jpg/png/gif/webp)
    • Video background (mp4/webm/mkv) and volume settings
    • Background blur, dim intensity
    • Dual Dim: Set different background dim intensities for day and night modes
  • Multi-Background Mode: Set different background images for different pages (home, kernel, superuser, modules, settings)
  • Grid Work Card Background:
    • Independent work card background image
    • Independent transparency and dim intensity settings (supports day/night separate settings)

Interface Element Display:

  • Grid work card element hiding settings (hide checkmark icon, hide text, hide mode label)
  • Work card mode label hiding in list mode
  • Module Banner: Enable status, custom banner image and its transparency settings

Multimedia Resources:

  • Background music file and related settings (volume, autoplay, loop playback)
  • Click sound effect file and related settings (scope)

#Sharing Themes

After exporting a theme, you can share the .fpt format theme file with other users, or publish it to the community for others to download and use.
