Background settings are the core beautification function of FolkPatch, supporting customization capabilities such as Single/Multiple Backgrounds, Dual Darkness, Background Blur, Video Background, adapting to multi-formats like JPG/PNG/GIF/MP4. Configurations can be imported and exported with theme packs, creating a highly personalized application interface, while allowing flexible parameter adjustments based on device performance to balance aesthetics and experience.
I. Core Setting Options
1. Single Background Mode (Default)
Set a unified background for the entire application, the core configuration for basic beautification, all parameters take effect independently.

- Night Mode Darkness: Set medium value (higher value for extremely bright backgrounds) to protect eyesight and improve text readability.
3. Multiple Background Mode (Featured Function)
Set independent backgrounds for different function pages to create differentiated visuals, default Off, recommended for beautification enthusiasts to turn on.
Configurable for 5 Independent Pages
Home, Kernel Patch Module Page (KPM), Superuser Page, System Module Page, Settings Page. Background automatically adapts when switching pages.
Notes & Tips
- Performance: Loading backgrounds for multiple pages increases memory/storage usage, with minimal performance impact;
- Configuration: Unified tone/style gradient transition, separate page background styles by function.
4. Video Background (Flagship Function)
Supports video as dynamic background, default Off, only recommended for high-performance devices.
Core Configuration
- Enable Video Background: Replaces static image after enabling, supports common video formats;
- Video Volume: Default 0 (Mute), recommended to keep mute to avoid disturbance.
Serious Performance Warning
Video background continuously consumes processing power and graphics resources, causing fast power drain and device heating. Disabled for low-end/old devices and battery-sensitive scenarios.
Video Material Suggestions
Low resolution, low frame rate, low bit rate, choose loop materials to reduce resource consumption.

Config 1: Minimalist Transparent Background (Focus on Readability)
Enable Custom Background + Very Low Transparency + No Blur + Enable Dual Darkness + Disable Multiple/Video Background.
Config 2: Frosted Glass Effect (Modern Design)
Enable Custom Background + Medium Transparency + Medium Blur + Enable Dual Darkness + Disable Multiple Background.
Config 3: Multiple Background Theme (Beautification Enthusiast)
Enable Custom Background + Enable Multiple Backgrounds + Lower Transparency + Slight Blur + Enable Dual Darkness; Match coordinated and differentiated backgrounds for each page (e.g., scenery for Home, sci-fi for Kernel Page).

Enable Custom Background + Lower Transparency + Slight Blur + Enable Dual Darkness + Disable Multiple/Video Background.
Config 5: Dynamic Video Background (High-Performance Flagship Only)
Disable Custom Background + Disable Multiple Backgrounds + Enable Video Background + Loop Mute Video + Medium Transparency + No Blur.
Config 6: Balanced Beautification (Recommended General)
Enable Custom Background + Lower Transparency + Slight Blur + Enable Dual Darkness + Multiple Background Optional + Disable Video Background (Balance aesthetics and performance).
V. Related Settings & Theme Pack Integration
1. Related Settings
- Theme Mode: Night mode affects automatic application of background darkness;
- Color & Style: Overlay with grid card background to increase visual hierarchy;
- Video Background: Can enter exclusive setting page for more refined configuration.
2. Theme Pack Integration
When exporting a theme pack, it automatically packages all background configurations + files: including enable status, transparency/blur/darkness parameters, dual darkness/multiple background/video background configurations, and all files for single/multiple/video backgrounds.
Important Reminder: Background setting is a core beautification function, but excessive use of video background and high blur will significantly affect device performance and battery life. Be sure to configure reasonably according to device performance.
