FolkPatch provides rich setting options, allowing you to customize the application's appearance, behavior, and functional experience. This document will help you quickly understand all setting categories.

Settings Category Overview

FolkPatch's settings are divided into the following 8 major categories, corresponding directly to the categories in the app's Settings page:

General

Contains basic running configuration of the application:

  • Language & Title: Application display language, DPI adaptation, and application title customization.
  • Update: Check for updates, auto update check, block KernelPatch/APD updates.
  • FolkX Animation Engine: Page transition animation type, speed control.
  • Advanced Options: Namespace mode, mount system, app list loading scheme, default mode for new apps, button indicator, predictive back gesture.
  • Log: Export application logs.

Appearance

All visual style and layout related settings:

  • Night Mode & Color: Light/Dark theme, Material You dynamic colors, AMOLED theme.
  • Home Layout: 7 UI layout styles (StatsUI, Grid/KernelSU, Focus, Sign, Circle, Dashboard, Default).
  • Color & Style: 20 theme colors, navigation tab visibility, grid card background.
  • Background Settings: Single/multi background, video background, opacity, blur, dim.
  • Badge Settings: Custom badge text, hide status badge.
  • Advanced Title Style: Replace homepage text title with a custom image.
  • Custom Font: Import TTF font files.
  • Module Banner: Display banner images in the module list.
  • Navigation Scheme: Floating/Bottom/Rail/Auto navigation bar, glassmorphism effect.
  • Theme Import/Export: Save/Import/Reset .fpt theme packs.

Behavior

Customize application interaction and display logic:

  • Interaction Settings: Web debugging switch, installation confirmation, page stay strategy, single-page superuser auth.
  • Display & Hide: APatch card, SU path, KPatch version, fingerprint info, Zygisk info, mount info.
  • Navigation & Tabs: Navigation bar layout mode, SuperUser/APM/KPM badge count.

Security

  • Biometrics: Fingerprint/Face ID login protection, strong biometric verification.
  • Data Protection: SuperKey storage control, clear key.

Backup

Module

  • Module Control: Disable update check, sorting optimization, fold system modules, spliced card group, minimalist list bottom bar, APM batch install, KPM auto load.

Function (Settings page top-right button)

  • FolkPatch Hide: Basic Root characteristic hiding (modifies system properties via hide service).
  • Umount Config: Unmount service management.
  • Kernel Spoof: Spoof kernel version and build time via SuperCall, with boot safety protection.
  • Path Hide: Kernel-level file/directory hiding, supports UID execution mode and visual app picker.

Multimedia

  • Background Music: Music file selection, auto play, looping, volume control.
  • Sound Effect: Preset/custom sound effects, supports global or bottom bar scope.
  • Startup Sound: Play sound on startup, supports presets and custom files.
  • Vibration: Vibration intensity slider, supports global or bottom bar scope.

Mount

Newcomer Quick Setup Guide

If you are using FolkPatch for the first time, it is recommended to explore in the following order:

  1. Basic Environment Configuration

    • Open Settings → General, adapt to your usage language
    • Confirm auto update check is enabled

  2. Configure Mount Method Choose the mount method according to your needs:

    • Need module mounting: Enable "Enable Mount System" in Settings → General, or install a meta module
    • Only need Root access: Keep default (no mount)
    • See Mount Implementation for details

  3. Appearance Personalization

    • Enter Settings → Appearance, choose your preferred home layout style
    • Configure night mode, theme color, try Material You dynamic colors
    • Set background images, transparency, and blur effects as desired

  4. Behavior & Security Fine-tuning

    • Adjust interaction logic and display options in Settings → Behavior according to your habits
    • Enable Settings → Security → Biometrics to ensure data security

Theme Pack Reminder

You can export all the above configurations (colors, backgrounds, fonts, sound effects, etc.) as a .fpt theme pack. Find the "Save Theme" function in Settings → Appearance. For detailed instructions, please refer to Theme Preview & Use.
