The Badge Settings feature allows you to customize how the working status labels are displayed on the home screen. Whether you're looking for a professional look or just some fun, you can find the right configuration here.

Description

Badge settings mainly affect the working status display (such as the Full/Half mode label) in the center area of the home screen.

Classic Emoji Mode

In List, Circle, and Sign UI modes, you can enable "Classic Emoji Mode".

  • Enabled: The badge will display as classic emoji icons, adding fun to the interface.
  • Disabled: The badge will display as text, and the "Custom Badge Text" feature will be unlocked.

Custom Badge Text

When Classic Emoji Mode is disabled, you can customize the displayed text using the "Custom Badge Text" button.

Path: Settings > Appearance > Badge Settings > Custom Badge Text

Helper Text: Modify the badge text display, for entertainment only.

Available Options:

  1. Full/Half: The current real scheme (the only option that reflects the actual working mode).
  2. LKM: Entertainment option.
  3. GKI: Entertainment option.
  4. N-GKI: Entertainment option.
  5. OKI: Entertainment option.
  6. Built-in: Entertainment option.

Entertainment Feature

"Custom Badge Text" is an entertainment feature. Except for the first option (Full/Half), which accurately reflects FolkPatch's working mode, the other options are for visual modification only and will not change the actual system working status.

UI Adaptation

Grid UI

In the Grid layout, the "Custom Badge Text" feature is also supported, but "Classic Emoji Mode" is currently not available for this layout.

Other UIs (List/Circle/Sign)

These layouts fully support switching between Classic Emoji Mode and custom text.

FAQ

Q: Why didn't the system status change after I modified the badge text?

A: This is a visual entertainment feature designed for UI customization. The actual working mode (e.g., whether it is in Full mode) is determined by the system backend and will not change with text modifications.

Q: How do I restore the real mode display?

A: Simply select the first option Full/Half in "Custom Badge Text".
