🎯 The Module Banner feature adds visual impact to your module list by displaying beautiful banner images, making the module management interface more aesthetically pleasing.

1. Enable Module Banner

You can enable this feature through the following path:

Path: Settings -> Appearance -> Enable Module Banner

Once enabled, FolkPatch will automatically index resource files in the module directory to be used as display banners.

Supported Resource Formats

The system will search for the following files in the module folder in order:

  • banner.webp
  • banner.png
  • banner.jpg

2. Custom Module Banner

In addition to the banners provided by the modules themselves, FolkPatch also supports users defining personalized banners for each module individually.

Function Description

  • Feature Name: Custom Module Banner
  • Operation: Long press any module in the module list to pop up the custom settings window.
  • Setting Location: You can also find this switch by entering the specific Module Settings page.
  • Priority Strategy:
    • Custom Banner > Built-in Module Banner
    • If you enable and set a custom banner, the system will prioritize displaying your custom resource and ignore the module's own banner file.

Use API for Custom Banner

FolkPatch allows you to set banners for modules by integrating with the FolkPatch API.

  • Operation: After enabling Custom Module Banner, enable API Mode below it.
  • Access API: FolkPatch can use WEB API or local path to get custom banners.
    • Local Path: Enter the absolute local path of the banner folder, and FolkPatch will automatically index the resource files in that folder as display banners.
    • WEB API: Enter the WEB API address, and FolkPatch will automatically index the resource files returned by that API as display banners.
  • API Interface Market: FolkPatch provides this interface market for you to obtain banner resources, and you can also add your own API interfaces.

3. Custom Banner Transparency

To better integrate banners into your personalized theme, we've added a transparency adjustment feature.

Function Description

  • Custom Switch: After enabling "Custom Module Banner", you can further check the Custom Transparency switch.
  • Real-time Adjustment: Once this feature is enabled, you can manually adjust the banner transparency value according to your preference, achieving a subtle visual transition from fully opaque to translucent.

4. Theme Integration

This feature is fully integrated into the theme engine. When you export or share a theme, all module banner settings (including enable status, custom resources, and transparency parameters) will be saved together, ensuring a consistent visual experience on other devices.

Setting a consistent style of banner images for your modules can make your module list look like a beautiful gallery!
