FolkPatch introduces a highly customizable Shortcuts feature, allowing you to extract frequently used module functions directly to your system home screen for one-click access.

1. Prerequisites

The shortcut add button is not displayed on all modules by default. You need to meet the following conditions:

  1. Enable Setting: Go to Settings -> Behavior -> Display and turn on the Show Shortcut Add Button switch.
  2. Module Support: The module must contain WebUI or Action resources. If a module does not have these two functions, the shortcut button will not be displayed even if the setting is enabled.

2. Shortcut Creation Entry

Once the above prerequisites are met, you will see a + Shortcut button at the bottom of each eligible module card in the System Modules list. Clicking this button will bring up the configuration window.

2. Configuration Popup Description

When you click "+ Shortcut", a configuration window titled "Shortcut" will pop up, where you can perform the following personalized settings:

2.1 Shortcut Name

  • Custom Naming: You can manually enter the name to be displayed on the home screen for the shortcut, making it easier to identify.

2.2 Shortcut Icon

  • Select Icon: You can choose an image from your gallery or file manager as the icon for the shortcut.
  • Use Default Icon: If you don't want to customize it, you can revert to using the module's own default icon with one click.

2.3 Shortcut Type

If the module possesses multiple functions simultaneously, you can choose the specific target for the shortcut:

  • WebUI: Clicking the home screen shortcut will directly open the module's custom WebUI configuration interface.
  • Action: Clicking the home screen shortcut will immediately trigger the execution of the module's preset Action script.

Smart Identification

The corresponding options will only appear in the popup if the module itself contains WebUI or Action resources.

3. Usage Scenarios

  • One-click Cleanup: Create a shortcut for a module with a cleanup Action to quickly clean up without entering the manager.
  • Quick Tuning: Create a shortcut for frequently used WebUI modules to adjust parameters at any time.

4. Notes

  • Ensure your system launcher has granted FolkPatch permission to "Create Home Screen Shortcuts".
  • If a module is uninstalled, the corresponding home screen shortcut will become invalid.
