Dual-Cut Background Transparency is one of the core features across all FolkPatch themes. It allows users to independently control the transparency of card backgrounds and card content. This feature not only enhances the visual aesthetics but also provides a perfect adaptation solution for dark mode.

Core Concept

Traditional transparency settings are typically global—when the background becomes transparent, text and icons also become blurry or hard to read. The Dual-Cut System splits this into two independent dimensions:

  1. Background Opacity: Controls the depth of the card base color.
  2. Content Opacity: Controls the display intensity of text, icons, progress bars, and other interactive elements.

Dark Mode Auto-Adaptation

The greatest advantage of the Dual-Cut Transparency system lies in its perception and adaptation to ambient lighting:

  • Smart Contrast: In dark mode, the system can automatically lower background transparency (making it closer to a dark background) while maintaining high content transparency, ensuring text remains sharp and clear in low-light environments, reducing eye strain.
  • Seamless Switching: When switching from light mode to dark mode, transparency parameters smoothly transition according to preset curves, avoiding visual jarring.

This is a global feature. Whether you're using the Sign Theme, List Theme, or Grid Theme, you can enjoy this ultimate customization experience.

How to Set Up

  1. Go to Personalization Settings.
  2. Find the Global Style tab.
  3. Adjust the Background Transparency and Content Transparency sliders to preview effects in real-time.

提示

When "Gaussian Blur" is enabled, it's recommended to set background transparency to 60%-80% for the best frosted glass texture.
